TEAM NOTES

AIR FORCE

• Air Force is 2-0-0 in the first games of series this season.

• The Falcons have scored a power-play goal in every game this season and rank fourth in the nation at 35.7% on the PP.

• Six of nine Air Force goals against Lindenwood were scored by freshmen.

• Air Force and Colorado College compete for the Pikes Peak Trophy, which the Tigers have held possession of since 2018.

ARMY WEST POINT

• The Black Knights earned a sweep in their first AHA series of the year for the first time since 2017-18.

• Army’s 5-for-10 power play against Holy Cross lifted the Black Knights’ PP to an NCAA-leading 45.5% through three games.

• JJ Cataldo (Stuart, Fla.) made 45 saves in two wins at Holy Cross, keeping the Crusaders scoreless through two periods in each game. He moved into 10th in Black Knight history with 1,845 career saves.

BENTLEY

• Bentley hosts Robert Morris this weekend seeking a win in its conference opener for the third year in a row. The Falcons had shut out the Colonials in three straight meetings prior to an RMU shootout win on Jan. 31, 2026.

CANISIUS

• Canisius has scored the opening goal of the game in four of six contests this season, boasting a 3-0-1 record in those games. The Griffs are 0-2-0 in the two contests in which the opponent has struck first.

• The Griffs scored in the opening minute of a game for the first time this season when junior Hunter Price (Calgary, Alta.) tallied 25 seconds into Friday’s game. It marked the fourth time since the start of the 2025-26 campaign that the Griffs have gotten on the board in the opening minute of the game, with the last two from Price (Feb. 7, 2026 at Robert Morris).

HOLY CROSS

• Owen Kim (North Vancouver, B.C.) and Matt Kursonis (West Boylston, Mass.) share the lead in scoring among AHA players with 8 points apiece. Kursonis has at least a point in all six games this season.

NIAGARA

• Goaltenders Tomas Anderson (Stillwater, Minn.) and Charles-Edward Gravel (Levis, Que.) both have goals-against averages under 2.00 and save percentages above .920. They have a combined save percentage of .935, after Niagara goaltenders combined for a .900 save percentage last season.

• Niagara has allowed just one power-play goal (25 opportunities, 96.0%) and has scored a shorthanded goal.

RIT

• After three straight games against ranked opponents, RIT hosts RPI (receiving votes in both polls) for two this weekend.

• RIT welcomed a sellout crowd of 10,556 at Blue Cross Arena in downtown Rochester for its game against Michigan State.

ROBERT MORRIS

• The Colonials enter league play after Tuesday’s win at Penn State, their first victory against the Nittany Lions since 2015-16.

• Senior George Krotiris (Markham, Ont.) recorded his first two-goal game Tuesday in his 112th career game.

• Patrick Johnson (Chesterfield, Mo.) has scored RMU’s first goal in back-to-back games, including 20 seconds into Tuesday’s game. That marked the fastest goal by a Colonial to start a game since 2014 (0:17, Brandon Denham vs. Mercyhurst).

SACRED HEART

• Diego Buttazzoni (Langley, B.C.) has three goals and four points in his first four games as a Pioneer.

• Sacred Heart is 2-1-0 against Big Ten teams this season; three of the Pioneers’ four wins all-time against the conference have come in the last two seasons.
