- Bentley senior forward Jake Black has tallied 26 points (13G-13A) over his last 26 games played, and led Division I with 17 points (9G-8A) in January. Black was honored as HCA’s Forward of the Month for his performance to begin 2026.
- RIT goaltender Jakub Krbecek’s 15 wins are tied for the second-most among Division I sophomore netminders.
- Army West Point junior forward Barron Woodring’s 320 faceoff wins are the fourth-most in Division I and lead AHA.
- Robert Morris freshman defenseman John Babcock leads the nation with 77 blocks.

- Sacred Heart senior forward Felix Trudeau’s five multi-goal games are tied for the third-most in Division I.
- Holy Cross senior forward Matt DeBoer’s three game-winning goals in conference play are tied for the most in AHA.
- Since Nov. 15, no Division I penalty kill has been more successful than Canisius’s, which has operated at 91.7 percent.
- Niagara’s freshmen forward duo of Marshall Finnie and Maxim Muranov is tied for the second-most goals among AHA freshmen with eight each.
HEDDEN IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION
Air Force senior defenseman
Chris Hedden enters the weekend leading all active Division I blueliners with 98 career points (33G-65A) in 138 games played. The Kalamazoo, Mich., native has the opportunity to become the only active defenseman in the nation to collect 100 career points.
This season, Hedden is tied for the fourth-most points of his position group nationally, with 24 (11G-13A) through 26 contests.
GOTKIN 1,300
In his 38th and final season, Mercyhurst head coach
Rick Gotkin is set to coach in his 1,300th career game on Friday at Sacred Heart.
Gotkin will become only the sixth Division I men’s head coach to reach the milestone, and the only active bench boss in the nation.
